Yoron Island vacation

Here are a few pictures from our 3 day vacation to Yoron Island. It was a 3 hour ferry from Motobu, Okinawa. It was a great time of relaxation and refreshing. The Lord was awesome and gracious the whole time. We had fun at the beach, pool, hot tub, and took a 3 hour bike ride. God answered many of our prayers as we took some time out to pray over our upcoming move, ministry opportunities, and direction for our family. On one occasion we had a Japanese Christian man come and pray with us at the pool, and pray the prayer of Jabez (1 Chronicles 4:9-10) for our family. Once again God showed his love and fellowship to us as we had a short time of prayer with another believer who barely spoke English. Between his broken English, and our very limited Japanese, we were all well aware of God's presence and blessing he had bestowed on us that day. On another occassion during our 3 hour bike ride, God placed on my heart Psalm 121:5-8, which details God's provision and protection, even by simply giving us clouds and a cool breeze during our bike ride. Even more amazing is Nicole's ability to pass me on the bike yelling "C'mon I'm 8 months pregnant", and God protecting us all from any falls or heat exhaustion during the bike ride. Overall great time for us as a family to enjoy God's wonderful creation and intimate fellowship with Him.
