Ie Jima Trip Day 2

It was another blessed day. We ate breakfast and had a small devotional from Proverbs 30. Then got the kids ready and spent the rest of the morning at the beach. Grandma, Auntie, Josiah and I went on a banana boat ride, it was fun and Josiah kept wanting to go faster. Ha ha. They had lots of fun, and Nicole and I took turns staying in the cottage with baby Eliannah. I got to nap, he he, and watched some DVD's from the Calvary Youth Workers conference while everyone else was at the beach. They came back starving, so we got some snacks to hold us over till dinner and the kids watched a cartoon. Dinner was great again, this time we ate the Western plate (Steak & sides). Selah was still sleeping from her active day. Then after dinner, we played a game of ring toss (like horseshoes), and Josiah won. Walked around a bit, and then we all got back in the pool and hot tub. The girls took turns in the massage chair next to the pool for some muscle relaxation. I mostly stayed in the hot tub, while Josiah, Selah, and Tierza swam in the big pool. Then we called it a night with some ice cream on the way back to the room. What a day!!!!! The Lord was so good to us with great weather, and some time to sit back, relax and meditate on what He has for us in the next few months, and years, and to spend time togethor as a family.
