Ie Jima Trip Day 3

What a day!!! We got up early for breakfast and then went to the pool. After that we checked out and walked around the grounds taking some pictures and playing golf. Then we caught the shuttle back to the port for our 30 minute ferry ride back to Motobu port. The ferry was packed and we had fun just looking out at the islands passing by. When we got to Motobu we ate at Nicole's favorite pizza restaurant, Pizza in the Sky. It was delicious. Then we drove back (1 hr) and by the time we got to the base, we decided to go to Dolphin park and watch the sunset and let the kids play. It was a great trip. Thank you Lord for a wonderful time. We really enjoyed just having fun and relaxing. We all had some good still moments to read, pray, and talk about what God was doing and saying to us amidst all the fun with the kids. Before leaving I just prayed and meditated about all that God was doing in my life and the direction He would have our family go. Our prayer would be for a return to Japan and the smaller islands next year with a team of college students or a missions trip with the church we will be with in Kansas.
